For directions, visit the LINGDALE GOLF CLUB map and directions page.

If you think you would like to join our club, just come along to any of our meetings to find out more about us.  You will be made most welcome, just like the the five new members who came to our first meeting at Lingdale Golf Club in September 2015, the three who joined us there in August 2017, and the steady stream of ones, twos and threes who have swelled our ranks almost every month over the last two years.

IN ORDER TO COMPLY WITH ANY GOVERNMENT MEASURES REGARDING SOCIAL CONTACT DURING THE COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) OUTBREAK, THE FOLLOWING MEETING(S) MAY BE CANCELLED.

NOVEMBER MEETING  CANCELLED
Due on Wednesday 18th November 2020

The Borough of Charnwood, the local authority area from which we draw many of our members, and in which the Lingdale Golf Club is situated, was moved into Tier 2 (High Risk) Covid-19 restrictions on Saturday 31st October.  This inevitably means that our November meeting has been cancelled.
ABOUT OUR MEETINGS

Our meetings are generally well attended, with the meeting room often full to capacity.   Many of our members arrive well before 8 o'clock and have a chat before the start.

We distribute copies of the club's FREE magazine, The Charnwood Chat,  and back copies are available to anyone who has missed a previous meeting.  See the CLUB MAGAZINE
page.

Club matters are formally discussed,  and voted on, if necessary.  Members are kept up to date by our Events Co-ordinators with details about any runs, shows, meets or any other club activities.

Each meeting features a prize draw, with usually two or three members going home with, typically, a bottle of wine or a box of chocolates .  The Charnwood Chat  features a picture-based competition for which another prize is up for grabs.

Many of our members carry out their own maintenance, and some have carried out full strip-down and rebuild restorations of their MGs.  There is, therefore, a wealth of expertise regarding MGs in our club, and our meetings provide an opportunity for members to find solutions to any problems they are having with their cars.
